Shop the Look:
We’ve recently fallen in love with beeswax candles over here. Not only do they look great, even a little “old timey” if you ask me, but burning them can be great for you and your home. Here are just a few of the amazing benefits of beeswax candles.
The bees work extremely hard, as do the humans to create these lovely beeswax candles. I’m all about supporting small whenever I can, and this is a great way to do so. More often than not beeswax candles cost a bit more than paraffin candles, but don’t let that deter you! They last much longer and offer amazing benefits, including supporting small businesses. THEY CLEAN THE AIR
The air we breathe contains billions of electronically charged particles known as ions. These ions make a big impact on our lives and can affect us in many ways - our mood, energy and health. Beeswax candle fuel is the only fuel that produces negative ions which can help to remove pollution from the air, leading to cleaner healthier air in our homes. (source: care2.com)
THEY ARE DRIP LESS & BURN LONGER
Exactly what we are looking for when it comes to candles! More flame time for your money, and less clean up. The flame they emit is PURE too, with the same light spectrum as the sun. (source: beeswax.co)
A lot of folks are sensitive to heavy smells and artificial fragrances, my husband included, so they are the perfect candle for our home. If you notice any scent at all, it will be a light honey scent.
NATURAL & RENEWABLE RESOURCE
Which is amazing news! They are made from 100% beeswax, unlike the paraffin candles which are a toxic byproduct of the oil industry. Did you know that burning paraffin candles can give off many of the same toxic fumes found in auto exhaust? Yikes! That alone is enough of a reason to switch to beeswax candles! (source: beeswax.co)
We offer a couple different beeswax candles in our shop that we love! We offer beeswax taper candles, beeswax tealights, and our beeswax birthday taper candles. All are lovingly handmade from small businesses in the U.S. and Canada. Check them out!
